Members of Wat Punyawanaram, Melbourne, Florida's Thai Buddhist Temple, gathered today to celebrate Loy Krathong...Loy Krathong is a special and important event, it allows Thai's to both give thanks to the rain gods for providing the rain that is so important in the growing of rice in Thailand, and secondly, launching the Krathong gives Thais a way to start anew by allowing the Krathong to attach itself with your suffering and let is flow away.
